HAMILTON, Bermuda; Hiscox Ltd has been informed that on 13 May 2008, Stuart John Bridges, Director, acquired 152,721 shares in the Company following the exercise of the following share options:

Hiscox Unapproved Share Option Scheme: 111,724 at an exercise price of £1.020 and 40,997 at an exercise price of £0.806

Following the above exercises, Mr Bridges holds 744,774 Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, representing 0.19% of the Company's issued share capital.
