HAMILTON, Bermuda; Hiscox Ltd has been informed that on 10 March 2009, Robert Ralph Scrymgeour Hiscox, Director, acquired 51,526 shares in the Company following the exercise of the following share options:

Hiscox Unapproved Share Option Scheme: 51,526 at an exercise price of £1.465 each.

Following the above exercises, Mr Hiscox holds 6,378,576 Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, representing 1.73% of the Company's issued share capital.
