Hochschild Mining plc ('the Company') today announces that with effect from 1 January 2011, Roberto Dañino shall serve as a Non-Executive Director of the Company to coincide with his appointment as Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of Fosfatos del Pacifico S.A, a company listed on the Lima Stock Exchange and part of the Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A. group of companies.
Mr Dañino will continue to serve as Deputy Chairman of Hochschild Mining plc and, in addition, from 1 January 2011 he shall also act as a Special Adviser to the Chairman and the senior management team.
Eduardo Hochschild, Executive Chairman, commented "I would like to express my gratitude to Roberto for the decisive role he has played resulting in Hochschild becoming the first Latin American company to issue stock in the London Stock Exchange in over 100 years.
