Notice of AGM, Posting of Annual Report and Investor Meeting

Hotel Chocolat Group plc, a premium British chocolatier and multi-channel retailer, confirms that, on 19 October 2021, it posted its Annual Report and Accounts for the period ended 27 June 2021 together with its Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM").

The Company is also pleased to announce that Angus Thirlwell (CEO) and Matt Pritchard (CFO) will give a live presentation via the Investor Meet Company ("IMC") platform on Thursday 25 November 2021 at 3.00pm (the "IMC Presentation"). Anyone who would like to attend the IMC Presentation should register via www.investormeetcompany.com/hotel-chocolat-group-plc/register-investor . Any questions for the Board should be submitted in advance through the IMC website.

The Board anticipates that many shareholders may feel more comfortable with attending the remote IMC Presentation rather than the AGM given the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the Company cannot rule out further Government restrictions being imposed before the AGM that will require withdrawing the option of attendance in person. There will be no management presentation at the AGM.
