MFI Appoints New Finance Director
The Board of MFI Furniture Group Plc, the UK's leading retailer of kitchens
and bedrooms is pleased to announce that it has appointed Martin Clifford-King
(ACA) as Finance Director. He will take up his post on 22nd December 2000.
Prior to joining MFI, Martin was Group Finance Director of Harveys Furnishing
plc which was recently acquired by Homestyle plc. Before that, Martin had been
Chief Financial Controller of Debenhams plc and had worked within
Burton/Debenhams for nine years.
John Hancock, Chief Executive of MFI, said:

experience of the retail industry will prove very valuable to the Company as
will his experience as a senior officer of a public quoted company. MFI is a
