Howden Joinery Group Plc - Transaction in Own Shares 

Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 19 November 2015 it purchased through UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 503.43p per share:

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	100,000
Highest purchase price paid per share:	506.50p
Lowest purchase price paid per share:	500.75p

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 7,700,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 644,130,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
