                          Hunting plc (the 'Company')

                           Block listing application

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of,
and to the London Stock Exchange for the Admission of, 300,000 ordinary shares
of 25 pence each fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary
shares. The 300,000 ordinary shares will be blocklisted under the Company's
Hunting 2001 Long-Term Incentive Plan.
