Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Hunting PLC (LSE:HTG), the international energy services group today announces the appointment of David Barr as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2011.
David Barr (aged 61), a US citizen, is a former executive of Baker Hughes Inc., where most recently he held the position of Group President of Completion and Production. Prior to this role he was Group President of Drilling and Evaluation and also a Division President of Baker Atlas.
He will join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination committees.
Mr. Barr is currently non-executive Chairman of Logan International, a Canadian listed oil services group; a non-executive director of ION Geophysical Corporation, a NYSE listed seismic services company; and a director of Probe Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of specialised modular down hole tools.
There are no further disclosures pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.
