                    Appointment of Non - Executive Director

ITE Group plc ('ITE'), the international exhibitions group specialising in
emerging and developing markets, announced today that it has appointed Mr
Malcolm Wall as a non - executive Director with immediate effect. Malcolm Wall
will be a member of the nomination, audit and remuneration committees.

Malcolm Wall (49) is currently Chief Executive of the Content Division of NTL
Telewest.  Prior to joining NTL Telewest, Mr Wall was Chief Operating Officer of
United Business Media plc.  In his ten year career at United Business Media Mr
Wall was extensively involved in all sectors of the company and had direct
responsibility for the professional media business unit which included B2B
publications and the exhibition business.

There are no further disclosures required under rule 9.6 of the listing rules of
the UK listing authority.

Commenting on the appointment, Iain Paterson, ITE's Chairman, said: 'Malcolm has
enjoyed a highly successful career in the media sector. He brings to ITE a
combination of senior board level experience and extensive knowledge of both the
international B2B market and the exhibitions business.  We are delighted to
welcome him to the Board and look forward to working with him as we continue to
grow the business.'
