                        AGM Statement and trading update

At the AGM of International Greetings (AIM: IGR), the leading designer and
manufacturer of private label greetings products, wrapping paper and film and
television character based licensed stationery, John Elfed Jones CBE DL, the
Group's non-executive chairman, said:

'I am pleased to report that, following the Group's strong performance last
year, which we reported in June, we have made a positive start to this year and
are looking forward to a full year's contribution to profits from Hoomark, the
Dutch subsidiary we acquired last December. We also strengthened our offering
with the acquisition of Krackajack in June, which provided us with an entry and
order book in the Irish cracker and lucrative catering markets.

'In August, Keith James joined the Board as a non-executive director and
replaced Hugh Child, who stepped down from the Board after making a considerable
contribution to the Group. Keith, who recently retired as chairman of Eversheds
LLP, one of the largest legal practices in Europe, is also a non-executive
director of Admiral Group Limited; we look forward to using his valuable
experience to assist with the Group's development going forward.

'The run-up to Christmas is traditionally our busiest period of the year and we
look forward, once again, to providing our clients with a first class service
and top quality products. We will announce interim results in December.'
