Non-Executive Director Appointment
IG Design Group plc, one of the world's leading designers, innovators and manufacturers of celebrations, craft, gifting, stationery and creative play products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Binyon to the Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 June 2022.
Claire is an experienced non-executive director and has extensive experience in executive and board advisory roles at international companies across the manufacturing, industrial and consumer goods sectors, both public and private. She currently holds the role of non-executive director at two FTSE 250 investment trusts: JP Morgan American Investment Trust plc and Murray International Trust PLC. Claire is also currently a non-executive director of NHBS LTD, a privately owned international retailer. Her previous experience includes senior executive positions at blue-chip businesses GE, InBev, Cadbury, DS Smith and Fenner/Michelin. Claire is a Chartered Accountant.
Claire has worked with many businesses undergoing operational and cultural change, driving their international expansion with a mixture of strategic thinking and tactical implementation. She has supported a number of multinationals with key operations in the US and, in addition, has substantial experience leading corporate transactions.
