                               Acquisition Update

Further to the previous RNS announcement on 19 November, IG Group Holdings plc
('IG') completed on the acquisition of HedgeStreet Inc. on Thursday 6th
December. Of the total consideration of $6.0m (approximately £2.9m) a maximum of
$60,000 will be paid in IG shares, the balance has been paid in cash.
