Ilika plc (AIM: IKA), the advanced cleantech materials discovery company, was notified on Thursday 5 August 2010 that Southern Fox Investments Limited ("Southern Fox"), has recently purchased 258,676 ordinary shares and 291,176 warrants in Ilika. Southern Fox now holds 1,533,186 shares in the company, representing 4.2 percent of the Company's issued share capital and voting rights.

The Company's Admission Document dated 6 May 2010 and the announcement made on 28 April 2010 referred to the shareholding of Southern Fox as being held by Beagle Partners, its investment adviser. This shareholding should have been described as being held by Southern Fox.
