that this Company has received notice from JPMorgan Cazenove Limited, of a
purchase on 24th November 2005 of 4,500 IMI Ordinary shares at a price of 464
pence per share on behalf of Mr T M Gateley, and 5,008 IMI Ordinary shares at a
price of 464 pence per share on behalf of Mr L Browne, who are Non-Executive
Directors of this Company.
