Impax Environmental Markets plc (the "Company") announces that it has entered into agreements for five year fixed rate loans of £15 million and US$20 million with Scotiabank Europe PLC. The interest rates on the loans are 2.910% per annum and 4.504% per annum respectively.

In addition, the Company has entered into a multicurrency revolving credit facility agreement with Scotiabank Europe PLC for a current committed amount of £2.5 million with an uncommitted accordion option to increase the facility by £17.5 million. No amount has been drawn from the revolving credit facility at the date of this announcement.

In conjunction with the above refinancing, the Company is repaying and cancelling its existing £30 million multi-currency revolving credit facility.
