Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 13 May 2016 it purchased 264,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 167.64p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 170p and the lowest price paid was 167.5p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 242,424,799 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 196,726,690.
