           ACQUISITION OF 75.1% SHAREHOLDING IN AUDI AND PEUGEOT RETAIL 
                          BUSINESSES IN ST PETERSBURG

Further to the announcement on 4 October 2007, Inchcape plc, the world's leading
car retailer, is pleased to confirm it has completed its acquisition of a 75.1%
shareholding in OOO Concord, a Peugeot retail business, and OOO Orgtekhstroy, an
Audi retail business, in St Petersburg.
