                          Inchcape plc ('the Company')


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange Plc for a total of 450,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p each ('Shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.



It is expected that the application will be heard on 27 September 2007 and
admission will be effective on 28 September 2007



These shares are being reserved under block listings and will be issued pursuant
to the following plan/scheme:
