Appointment of Company Secretary
Inchcape plc, the leading international automotive retailer, has appointed
Claire Chapman as General Counsel and Group Company Secretary.
Claire joins Inchcape as General Counsel on 12 March 2007 and her appointment as
Company Secretary will take effect on 1 July 2007 following the retirement of
Roy Williams on 30 June 2007 after 30 years of service with Inchcape.
Andre Lacroix, Group Chief Executive said:
'Claire's experience in International law both in a transactional and corporate
capacity is second to none. Claire and her team will be an important cornerstone
in the international growth programme of expanding our business with core brand
partners in existing, developing and developed markets.'
