Midlands, B70 0JE, has sold a total of 709,000 Inchcape Plc ord shares.

Following the four disposals our client now holds in total 8,900,000 ordinary
shares which represents 10.07% of the issued share capital. The registered
holder of the shares is Brewin Nominees Limited.
