           Informa Group acquires Australian Telecoms and IT titles


Informa Australia has today announced the acquisition of Auscom Publishing Pty
Ltd for a cash consideration of Aus$1.9 million.

Auscom is a Sydney-based publisher, which produces three high quality
magazines, including the market leader, CommsWorld, e-Access and Systems as
well as a variety of speciality publications. Together with Asia-Pacific
Banking Technology which was launched earlier this year, the new titles will
form Informa Australia's IT and Telecoms Publishing Unit.
