On 8 November 1999 the Company established an employees' share scheme which is a
Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust (QUEST) that encourages and
facilitates the acquisition and holding of shares in the company by and for the
benefit of the employees and certain former employees of the company and other
companies within the group.  On 20 March 2000 401977 were allocated to QUEST at
an aggregate subscription price of 790 pence being an amount equivalent to the
market value of an ordinary share to satisfy SAYE share options when they are
exercised.

From September 2000, all exercises of SAYE options were completed by the
transfer of shares from Informa Quest Limited to the individual concerned.

As at 30/03/01, 2581 shares had been transferred to individuals following the
exercise of options.
