                                 Board Changes

The Board of Informa plc ('Informa') announces today that David Gilbertson has
resigned as Chief Executive and from the Board and will be leaving the company
to take up the role of Chief Executive at EMAP.

Peter Rigby, previously Chairman, has resumed the role of Chief Executive, the
position he held until May last year. Derek Mapp, the Senior Independent
Director and a Non-Executive Director of Informa since 2004, has been appointed
Non-Executive Chairman.

The Board also announces today that Dr Pamela Kirby has become the Senior
Independent Director.

Derek Mapp, Chairman, commented on the changes:

'In Peter we have a great Chief Executive who since its formation in 1998 has
been growing the business into the powerhouse it is today.

'As demonstrated by the results announced in February, Informa is thriving.  I
am honoured that my fellow directors have invited me to be Chairman.  I am
looking forward to chairing the Board.'

Peter Rigby, Chief Executive, said:

'I am sorry to see David go. Over the last ten years Informa has been
transformed into a major global media company and it has been a privilege to
work with David to achieve this. The time we have worked together has been
exciting and rewarding and has helped us build an enduring personal friendship.
I would like to thank him very much for all he has done as a colleague at
Informa and prior to that at LLP and wish him every success in his new venture
in private equity.

'Informa is trading well and enjoying the highest levels of profitability in the
company's history. I am delighted to resume the role of Chief Executive. We have
extensive opportunities for growth ahead. Supported by a management team of
depth and quality, I am very confident that we will exploit these opportunities
and continue to drive the business forward.'

David Gilbertson added:

'I am leaving Informa with great pride. The Company has high growth assets,
enduring revenue streams and a talented management team with whom it has been my
privilege to work. My partnership and friendship with Peter has been the
highpoint of my professional career. I look forward to seeing Informa continue
to grow and develop under Peter's leadership as a great international media
business.'
