Informa Group Plc gives notice that HSBC Trustees (Jersey), the trustee to an
employee benefit trust established by the company for the purposes of incentive
plans for employees (including directors) has made market purchases of the
following Informa Group Plc ordinary shares:
13 October 1999 50000 ordinary shares @ 414p
15 October 1999 50000 ordinary shares @ 413.5p
18 October 1999 70000 ordinary shares @ 412.5357p
19 October 1999 70000 ordinary shares @ 412.5p
These purchases were made to meet requirements of the trustee in relation to
option already awarded under the Informa Group Discretionary Option Plan.
No additional interests arise on the part of the directors by reason of these
purchases.
Notification in respect of these purchases was received by the company on 14th,
16th and 19th October 1999.
