               Notification of Substantial Interest in Shares

The Informa Group plc (the "Company") received notification on 2 June 2003 from
Wellington Management Company LLP advising that it has disposed of its interests
in a certain number of ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the
Company. As a result thereof, Wellington Management Company LLP, no longer holds
a notifiable interest in the shares of the Company.
