Announcement Re Circular

Intec Telecom Systems PLC (the "Company") has today posted a Notice of General Meeting and a circular to its shareholders seeking approval for the cancellation of its share premium account (the "Cancellation").   Implementation of the Cancellation is subject to shareholder approval and confirmation by the High Court. 

This will facilitate the purchase by the Company of its own Shares, implementation of non-dilutive share incentive plans and potential distributions should the Board consider it appropriate to do so in the future.

The General Meeting is to be held at the offices of the Company at Wells Court, Albert Drive, Woking, Surrey, GU21 5UB on 14 April 2009 at 10.00 a.m.
