Confirmation of Appointment of new Chief Executive Officer

Intec Telecom Systems PLC (LSE: ITL), a leading supplier of software solutions
to the global telecoms industry, is pleased to confirm the appointment today,
previously announced on 4 December 2007, of Andrew Taylor to its Board as Chief
Executive Officer. John Hughes, currently Chairman and Interim CEO, will return
to his previous position as Non-Executive Chairman.

Andrew Taylor has been a Non-Executive Director and Remuneration Committee
Chairman of Scottish Water Business Stream Limited since November 2006 and is
currently a director and Board member of Allium Financial Services.
