Director
London, Date , 2009 - Intec, a global provider of business and
operations support systems (OSS/BSS), is pleased to announce the
appointment of Franchon M. Smithson to the Board as a Non-Executive
Director with immediate effect.
Franchon is currently Managing Director of General Atlantic, a
leading global growth equity firm providing strategic support for
growth companies. His previous experience includes senior roles for
companies including Legent Corporation, Computerland Corporation and
PepsiCo, where he developed extensive understanding of the growth
drivers affecting global corporations.
John Hughes, Non-Executive Chairman of Intec said "We are delighted

Franchon M.Smithson replaces former Non-Executive Director, Rene
Kern, who has resigned his position from the Board with immediate
effect; Rene was originally appointed to the Board on 27 August 2004.
