Offer Talks Terminated

As announced on 8 May 2008, Intec Telecom Systems PLC (the "Company") received a very preliminary approach in relation to a potential offer for the Company. Since then, the Board has held a number of discussions in order to establish whether a suitable offer for the Company that could be recommended to shareholders would be forthcoming.  

Given the current market volatility, and on the basis that no such suitable offer has been received to date, the Board has terminated all discussions.

Preliminary results for the year ended 30 September 2008 will be announced on 25 November 2008. As announced on 16 September 2008, the Company anticipates reporting results at the upper end of its expectations.
