Major US Carrier selects Singl.eView for convergent billing and flexible rating
• Multi-million dollar agreement enables the replacement of legacy billing
applications
London, 27 July 2005 - Intec, a global provider of business and operations
support systems (BSS/OSS), announced today the recent signing of a multi-million
dollar license agreement for Intec's award-winning billing solution, Singl.eView
(TM), with a major US carrier. The carrier selected Singl.eView for a legacy
system replacement project that could be deployed rapidly to enable new and
enhanced capabilities around existing and future services.
"This major contract is further evidence of the growing acceptance of
Singl.eView as the logical choice for legacy billing replacement projects," said
Kevin Adams, CEO of Intec. "Singl.eView's state-of-the-art convergent design,
modular architecture, and low TCO make it highly attractive to carriers looking
to update their billing processes for a new generation of services, or to
consolidate multiple legacy systems into a single, future-proof platform."
Used by more than 50 companies worldwide, Singl.eView is a comprehensive, fully
convergent billing system designed to meet the present and future needs of
wireless, wireline, MVNO and IP-based carriers. Singl.eView can bill for any
kind of service or payment method, making it especially attractive to operators
offering next-generation services such as VoIP or IPTV, and sophisticated
multi-product bundles.
