Intec Telecom Systems signs global licensing deal with
France Telecom
London, November 29th - Intec Telecom Systems PLC (Code: ITL), the world
leader in intercarrier billing systems, has signed a new global licensing deal
with France Telecom for its InterconnecT product.
The contract with France Telecom, already one of Intec's most prominent
customers, is for an extension to an existing agreement. The extension will
allow France Telecom to install InterconnecT in any of its French
subsidiaries, and for a further fee, in companies outside of France. As part
of the agreement, France Telecom will promote and support InterconnecT among
its subsidiary companies. The agreement is expected to produce a substantial
increase in Intec's installed customer base.
Kevin Adams, Chief Executive Officer of Intec said:
'This global contract arrangement is beneficial for both Intec and France
Telecom, and we are delighted to extend our partnership with them. Intec will
gain a substantial increase in its installed base. France Telecom will gain
the ability to roll out the industry's most successful interconnect solution
with minimal delay and improved value. The advantages of having a single
solution for such a critical business function across its key operating
companies include reduced costs and shorter project timescales, and simplified
technical administration.'
