International Biotechnology Trust plc (the Company)

Dividend Declaration 

The Company announced on 9 September 2016 the introduction of an annual dividend, equivalent to 4 per cent. of the Company's Net Asset Value as at the last day of the preceding financial year (31 August), to be payable through two equal distributions in January and August of each year.  Shareholders approved this proposal at a General Meeting held on 29 September 2016.  

In accordance with this policy, the Directors have today declared the second Interim Dividend for the period ended 31 August 2018 in an amount of 13.5p per Ordinary Share. 

The second Interim Dividend will be payable on Friday, 31 August 2018 to holders of Ordinary Shares on the Register at the close of business on Friday, 3 August 2018 (ex-dividend Thursday, 2 August 2018).
