Portfolio Update

The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the Company) announces the following unquoted portfolio event.

SV Fund VI's latest estimation values the Company's investment at $37.7m (£27.5m), an uplift of $6.2m (£4.5m) on the preceding valuation of $31.5m (£23.0m) which was included in the Company's Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation for 25 January 2021.

In line with the Company's accounting policy, valuation movements are reflected in the next reported NAV.  Therefore, the increase in NAV to be reported today, as at 26 January 2021, will be £4.5m or 11.2 pence per share.
