APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

IDEAL SHOPPING DIRECT PLC

The Company today announces the appointment of Michael Creedon as Finance
Director with effect from 26 March 2002.

Said Paul Wright, Chief Executive "Following several months of careful searching
I believe that in Mike I have found a man with the necessary resilience, drive
and commitment to help me ensure that the Company's vision for its future is
achieved to the benefit of shareholders, and the Company's loyal and committed
workforce".

Pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (f)(ii) of the AIM Rules of the London Stock
Exchange, companies of which Michael John Creedon (aged 43) has been a director
at any time in the past five years are as follows.  Michael Creedon is no longer
