Intertek Group plc - Result of Annual General Meeting

At the fifth Annual General Meeting of Intertek Group plc held today, all 
resolutions were duly passed.

The Notice of AGM was dispatched to shareholders on 6 March 2006 and a
subsequent letter was sent to shareholders on 7  April 2006. All documents were
also placed on the Company's website, www.intertek.com. Copies of these
documents, which  include all items of special business, were submitted to the
UK Listing Authority and are available for inspection at  the UK Listing
