Intertek Group plc - Result of Annual General Meeting

At the fourth Annual General Meeting of Intertek Group plc held today, all 
resolutions were duly passed.

The Notice of AGM was dispatched to shareholders on 7 March 2005 and also placed
on the Company's website,  www.intertek.com. Copies of the Notice, which
includes all items of special business, were also submitted to the UK  Listing
