Investec Limited (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of Investec plc's ordinary shares of 0.0002 pence each through Investec Markets Proprietary Limited.

The Company intends to treat the shares as if they were treasury shares in the consolidated annual financial statements of the Investec Group.

The repurchased Investec Limited shares will be cancelled and reinstated as authorised but unissued shares in the share capital of Investec Limited.
Since 21st of November 2022, the Company has purchased 7,268,590 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of R763,415,878.34 .
Investec Limited, in discussions with its broker has agreed that on any given trading day a buyback of shares or acquisition of Investec plc shares under the Programme may exceed 25% of the average daily trading volume on each trading platform on which the respective shares are traded. Where a buyback or acquisition of shares exceeds 25% of the average daily trading volume on any trading platform, Investec Limited will not fall within the exemption contained in Article 5(1) MAR.
