On 14 June 2007, 777 385 Investec plc ordinary shares of GBP0.0002 each, being
0.2% of Investec plc's issued share capital, were returned to Investec Bank (UK)
Limited, in accordance with a stock borrowing and lending agreement entered into
on 15 February 2006, from an independent third party.
