Disclosure of Material Interest in Shares - Companies Act 1985, Section 198 -202

On 14 October 2005, the Company received notification from Merrill Lynch & Co.,
Inc. stating that as at 13 October 2005 Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. was interested
in 6,856,712 ordinary shares of 10p each (the 'shares') of the Company,
representing 14.99% of the then issued share capital of the Company. Merrill
Lynch & Co., Inc.'s material interest was registered as follows:

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Group Limited - Nutraco Nominees Limited being
the registered holders of 5,890,892 shares, representing 12.88% of the then
issued share capital of the Company.

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Group Limited - Merrill Lynch Pension Nominees
Limited A/C Noncert being the registered and beneficial holders of 799,764
shares, representing 1.75% of the then issued share capital of the Company.

Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. being the registered holders of 166,056 shares,
representing 0.36% of the then issued share capital of the Company.
