Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 39,806
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to be
admitted to trading on AIM. The Ordinary Shares are being issued
pursuant to the exercise of share options under the IQE Group Share
Option Scheme.
Application has been made and admission to trading on AIM of these
Ordinary Shares is expected to occur on 30 June 2009.
Following this issue the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue
will be 436,149,319.
