David Ledwidge appointed to the Board of Irish Continental Group plc

Irish Continental Group ("ICG" or the "Company") today announces the appointment of David Ledwidge as a Director of the Company. David joined ICG in 2006 and in February 2015 was appointed as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") designate taking up the CFO role in June 2015.

Welcoming David's appointment to the Board of the Company, John B.McGuckian, Chairman, said "The Board is delighted to announce the appointment of David Ledwidge as a Director of the Company. He has been with ICG for over 9 years and has played a very significant part in the development of the Company. We now look forward to David's contribution at Board level".

David joined the Group in 2006 from Professional Services firm Deloitte. He is a member of  the Institute of Chartered Accountants in  Ireland and is a Bachelor of Science Graduate from Dublin Institute of Technology.

There are no details to be disclosed as required under Paragraph 6.6.7 Chapter 6 of the Irish Listing Rules and Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules relating to this appointment.
