HFuel at Hannover Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Fair 2012

ITM Power (AIM:ITM), the energy storage and clean fuel company, announces that, it has reached agreement with the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Fair to demonstrate its HFuel on-site hydrogen refueling station at the Hannover Messe in April.

Operating HFuel in Germany is a key part of the Company's strategy to gain access to this important territory.  This is one of the last steps in achieving approval for HFuel to operate in Germany. HFuel is intended to be used to refuel a fuel cell bus that will be circulating on the exhibition site for the week of the Fair, the 23rd to the 27th April 2012.

Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Fair Managing Director, Tobias Renz, commented: "Being able to demonstrate a sustainable hydrogen refueling solution alongside the next generation of fuel cell vehicles is immensely important at this key stage in the roll out of hydrogen infrastructure. We are delighted to be hosting such an important demonstration at the 2012 Messe."

HyCologne Project Manager, Boris Jermer, commented: "I am delighted to be able to refuel one of our fuel cell buses with hydrogen made on site at the Hannover Messe. HFuel is a very convenient platform when vehicle refuelling is required at showcase events and where there is a need to demonstrate a green hydrogen solution."
