ITM Power plc
("ITM Power" or "the Company")
Marketing Update
ITM Power, the energy storage and clean fuel company, is pleased to announce the successful launch of its first electrolyser product range at the Hannover Messe in Germany and the US National Hydrogen Association conference and trade show in Long Beach, California.
Analysis of the enquiries shows a positive response from a wide range of potential partners plus strong interest in the products on display. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from private meetings and the hydrogen and renewable energy community is taken as evidence that the products launched are of a specification relevant to existing and growing market opportunities. This endorses ITM Power's commitment to continue pursuit of CE accreditation for this initial product range.
At the Hannover Messe numerous endorsements were received from large and established businesses, in particular concerning the engineering quality and effective transition from a new technology provider to product supplier. At the NHA conference in California it was clear that hydrogen refuelling at both a domestic and commercial scale was recognised as an important and inevitable progression towards wider adoption of hydrogen fuel and ITM Power presented a paper outlining its experience and developments in the field of hydrogen refuelling for transport applications. The Company is currently completing the process of responding to the over 350 enquiries generated by the two shows.
As a result of the successful attendance at the first two shows, ITM Power is continuing its presence at trade fairs and will be attending further shows, along with products, over the next few months. The next is a NEPROM event on 20th May 2010 with partner Ballast Nedam.
Dr Graham Cooley, CEO will also be presenting a keynote address at the All Energy 2010 conference in Aberdeen on the same day, 20th May 2010.
On the 8th June 2010 ITM Power will be at PROVADA in Amsterdam, again with Ballast Nedam. PROVADA is a well-known event for project developers, corporations and investors of the building sector mainly in the Netherlands.
