                            ITV plc (the 'Company')

                           Block listing application

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of,
and to the London Stock Exchange for the Admission of 3,900,000 ordinary shares
of 10 pence each fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary
shares. 2,000,000 shares will be blocklisted under the ITV Savings-Related Share
Option Scheme, and 1,900,000 shares will be blocklisted under the ITV
Performance Share Plan.
