Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
would like to notify the market of the following:

Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC's (`the Company') capital consists of
62,822,084 Zero Dividend Preference shares and 62,822,084 Geared Income shares
both share classes having voting rights.

Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is
125,644,168.

The above figure (125,644,168) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
