John David Group PLC ('JD' or the 'Company')
Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
The board of JD is pleased to announce that the two ordinary resolutions put to
the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held earlier today were both
passed enabling the Directors to offer shareholders a Scrip Dividend alternative
to any dividends declared or paid in the period until the next Annual General
Meeting.
This allows the interim dividend of 2.30p per ordinary share declared on 5
October 2005 to be taken alternatively in the form of fully paid ordinary
shares.
JD will be issuing a post-Christmas trading update on 17 January 2006.
