Public transport information display systems £1.1m purchase orders
Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), the information systems and transport technical services group, is pleased to announce that it has received new purchase orders for the supply of its advanced public transport information systems.
The purchase orders worth £1.1m in total include the supply of the Company's latest double-sided solar powered display systems. Approximately £0.7m is expected to be delivered in the current financial year.
Russ Singleton, Chief Executive of Journeo plc, commented: "We have been investing in renewable energy powered technologies for some time now and we are delighted that the orders being announced today, include a number of our latest low energy solar-powered systems.
We have had an encouraging start to FY21, following RNS announcements made in January, with a strong and growing pipeline of sales opportunities for the Company's technologies, software, and services.
The DfT announcement of 15 March 2021 of the first National bus strategy for England is a significant market driver. The Enhanced Partnerships envisaged by the bus strategy announcement will forge a closer relationship between local authorities and fleet operators, aligning with our core capabilities in each customer segment".
