REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc has today purchased 85,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at 191.40 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 176,998,021.
