Fourth quarterly interim dividend

The Directors have declared that a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 9.50 pence per share for the year ended 31st December 2018 will be paid on 1st March 2019 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 8th February 2019. The ex-dividend date will be 7th February 2019. This payment will bring the total dividend for the year ended 31st December 2018 to 27.50 pence (2017: 26.00 pence), an increase of 5.8% over the previous year.

This declaration continues the Company's record of increasing the total dividend each year since 1972 and the growth of the total dividend for the 46th successive year.
