CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 2,678,222 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,041,439 Ordinary shares and   18,322,086 Subscription shares.
